Description
Boschveld is a cross breed of roadrunners, namely, Venda(SA), Ovambo (Namibia) AND Matebele (Zimbabwe). It was developed by a Zimbabwean born South African farmer, Michael Bosch.
In 2005, Mike was a finalist in the National Farmer of the Year Award.
Boschveld eggs are fully accredited with BRC (British Retail Consortium – the standard European Retailers).

· Lays eggs for 2.5years
· Extra large eggs as the birds grow older.
· Can breed on your own; no need to keep buying chicks.
· Regional origin and so resistant to some bacterial infections. This limits the use of antibiotics.
